Many years ago I trained to be a nail technician so I could support my daughters' formative years, ok yes many years ago back in 2003... it's been a few. I moved to Te Aroha in 2019 and couldn't find a salon to do my nails, so Aroha Nails was born... Then as the years have passed my clients have asked me for extra services like waxing and tinting, so the salon has grown over the years.

As we all do, I've had a few health issues over the years and I got frustrated with our general practice, you go in wanting help with a problem and all you leave with is a prescription for a tablet or 2... never a delve into the root cause of your disease or any help to improve your diet and lifestyle.

I decided to look into alternative therapies more as I've always had an interest in nutrition and self development. I went along to a Reflexology introduction course and I was hooked. So Aroha Nails and Beauty has been reborn into Aroha Nails and Reflexology as I now expand my horizons into helping our community with a safe and completely natural form of healing to allow our bodies to heal themselves.
